ELBA
>> Porto
Azzurro |
If
you do not intend to go after adventures and undersea treasures
such as Polluce, that according to the legend is in the depths
of Porto Azzurro Gulf, and you only want to relax on a beach,
this part of the coastline will be able to satisfy your even
most extravagant needs, both in service and in nature. Driving
down the road that runs along the gulf you get to Mola
beach, with a sand and pebble bottom and so well protected that
it actually seems more a small harbor than a real beach Rossa
beach is located in the very center of the village, inside the
harbor that unfortunately provokes an inevitable water pollution
and is therefor only suitable for those who do not demand too
much and are not up for moving around. |
|
Pianotta is located behind the port as well but is a
town beach with transparent and unpolluted water, a lovely sea-bed
and all comforts within reach.
Barbarossa beach is easily accessible from the center,
well protected, wide, comfortable and extremely well-equipped.
Just next to the beach, the small cove Barbarossa, wedged
between rocks and easily accessible from the homonymous beach.
The reddish wall of land, excavated by the billaus, looks like
a thick beard and has given the name to both the cove and the
large beach. Reale beach is well served, wide and easily
accessible. |
